My House Of Holland Inspired Designs Let Them Eat Cake

Final Collection Design Concept:
I chose the brand House of Holland and I chose this brand because of the signature colorful print collections, I want to work with print design in the future and I think this the perfect brand to work with because of its playful and bold approach to design.  I have continued this theme in my concept and the collection will be keeping within the brands aesthetic and key garment types. Because I am designing for a brand that works with print I decided to choose a concept that would nourish my print design ideas. My concept I pop art combined with 90’s grunge fashion and my print inspiration comes from an inspirational photographer called Martin Parr his photography style is comical and strange.

this is my final graduate collection, I'm graduating in June 2015 with BA (hons) fashion my cake photography that i turned into a print design, if you look closely you can see the abstract cake prints in each garment.

new jewellery creations for my store

my newest creations are clay jewellery that i hand moulded from air dry clay and hand painted. i was inspired by a trip to the museum and was looking at prehistoric jewellery. i wanted to incorporate the prehistoric materials that they used to make jewellery and combine it with silver for a contemporary look. i love that fashion is about re using the old and the fashion evolving into something new. if you ar interested in buying some jewllery you can visit my shop for custom made jewellery & clothing.

the studded spike bra

now i saw some really cool images over the net with outfits and studded bras and it looked awesome!
i love how the outfits slightly reveal the spiked bra and in this outfit it gives this soft feminine look a hard edgy feel. love how this statement piece has been used as juxtaposition.

i just love these looks how it's slightly shown and it looks amazing! so from being inspired by these outfits i had to get my very own spiked studded bra it just looked so cool! i got mine from eBay.
i shreded a thrifted rock band t-shirt laddered and wove it up the front into  a low v so i could show the a little part of the bra and i love the effect it has! soon i'll be doing a DIY fashion video on my channel on how to style a statement piece like this.
i purchased it from this seller http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130828825325?var=430118447970&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

what do think? would you wear it?

shirt project

this is the Celine collection i took inspiration from

so I've been working on my very own shirt design i made in fashion design classes and we had to make  a shirt inspired by a brand of our choice. i chose the brand Celine. the brief was simple we we couldn't just copy an existing outfit from the brands range. what we had to do was research who the current designer was who they are inspired by and try and gather inspiration from there .also research the history and design philosophy of the brand.

do you like the design tell me what you think?

photoshoot for the garment made from found objects

this piece was an 1 week project where the task was to create a garment form found objects, some thing you wouldn't acossiate with fashion so it could be made from anything like a paper plates or golf balls. so i made mine from newspaper and card. the i used it to make origami butterflies to create this particular shape.

we were put into groups of four i did make up and photography, other members of my group where responsible for hair, modelling and styling. below are some of the shoots i took.

these photos below are of what the other members of my group created as their garments.
