Multisensory Fashion show

hi everyone!

I attended another fashion show meet up and fashion networking night organised by Irfan Khalil from Heptagon Events. Another amazing event as usual! the first hour was networking and meeting lots of people in the fashion industry creating contacts and making friends. then during the second hour we was presented with an Multisensory Fashion show by Creative director of Sleekster Club Maria Tukhas. I really loved the fashion show I thought that the projector video was very creative and exciting, different images was projected onto the wall and the colours reflected on the material of each garment. The Sleekster Club is a stylish and trendy fashion brand designed and made in London, England.

I look forwards to the next event!

A LFW High by Rohma Malik

London Fashion Week l September 2015

Hey Guys!

So London Fashion Week is literally around the corner and I can't even begin to explain my excitement! To me LFW is much more than just big brands showcasing their collections. It's about an entire industry coming together to truly celebrate individual fashion. Fashion to me is much more than a piece of clothing, it is about creativity that helps one express who they are. And nothing illustrates this any clearer than the absolutely stunning Street Style pictures taken by photographers. They never fail in capturing outfits that get the mind running as it is consistently high on a dosage of high inspiration.

If you're lucky enough to be in London during LFW (or Paris/Milan/New York) but are confused as to what it is you should wear, stop worrying. I have created three outfits. Each with a different theme in mind, and guaranteed to have you hitting those A/W 15 trends.
The first theme is Scandic Minimalism. It is true, no one does minimal outfits better than the Scandinavians. Therefore this entire outfit is from everyone's favourite Swedish high-street brand H&M. Note usage of the clashing prints (adding to an incredible statement).
The second theme is Sporty Nostalgia. Here the pieces used have a sport like feel to them. However the colours used and silhouettes adds a reminiscence of the 90's. One could argue that it is a colourful take on the Alexander Wang X H&M collaboration.
The third theme is Casually Loud. This is a perfect outfit for those who love fashion but prefer comfort over pain. By pairing some skinny fit denim with a loud loose-fit jumper, you're hitting the right keys but staying snug. To make the most of this casual outfit, simply add a pair of heels and you're good to go!

I hope this post has got you high on a dosage of inspiration. Share your take on these themes with us  by using #LFWHigh

Yellow Is The New Black Eco Friendly Outfit

On this day I spent the day in my most favourite place in London, in bricklane this area is the most quirkiest part of London I love the street art in the area and that's why i thought it would be such an amazing idea to do a photo shoot there for my new dress with photographer Julia Tillbert . This dress is one of my newest designs i styled this outfit with a golden necklace to bring out the colour and a belt to bring the waist in creating a curvier illusion, since the dress I designed has a box shape and it can be worn many ways. The inspiration for this dress came from Ancient Egypt and modern fashion i combined the too to create this design. I was thinking more about using natural materials and using eco friendly dying techniques that wont damage the environment. This dress was made from made from 100% natural vegetable dyes eco friendly plant based dyes that won't pollute the world, this dress is available for purchase here at ME clothing range
