fashion design

 today i created new fashion designs for me clothing range. i was inspired by a couple of books the first book i used was fabric manipulation sewing book and i took a overlapping ribbon inspiration from it. to create a neckline detail i really like adding textile detail to simple silhouettes.

 another garment I'm working on an detailed shoulder for a dress garment.

 i also used the book pattern magic by tomoko nakamichi to inspire this bow top. the book us about creative pattern cutting it shows you can create any shape with pattern cutting and three dimensional paper cutting to create sculptural architectural clothing designs.  

i will be doing more of these designs.

new jewellery creations for my store

my newest creations are clay jewellery that i hand moulded from air dry clay and hand painted. i was inspired by a trip to the museum and was looking at prehistoric jewellery. i wanted to incorporate the prehistoric materials that they used to make jewellery and combine it with silver for a contemporary look. i love that fashion is about re using the old and the fashion evolving into something new. if you ar interested in buying some jewllery you can visit my shop for custom made jewellery & clothing.

hey all of you! these are some photos of my newest photo-shoot of my new clothing for my online store M.E clothing range, this is my summer collection and in the upcoming weeks i'll be making more clothing & jewellery for the store! and finding more models. the model in these photos is Vanessa Bird.

wearing my handmade poncho from my online clothing store. this is how i style it.

photoshoot for new items on my store & new designs me clothing range

 so these are new designs for me clothing range and i was looking at the idea of feminine and edgy combined for a striking look. i wanted a s simple colour palette and interesting silhouettes.

 this top is poofy at the front and pointy in the back really hot crop top, edgy but feminine.

 this next top is a cropped v neck jacket made with faux leather. with big sleeves for an interesting look.

 the next look is very toned down and feminine loose and flowing the perfect look for summer.

 then i created a leather chains and studs necklace for that edgy biker chick look to toughen up the girly top. i always love combining feminine pieces with rocker edgy pieces and it just give it a new fresh look.

 I've been doing  some more designs i really love the idea of leather, studs and chiffon. and the combination of edgy and girly styles.  took inspiration from the rocker looks and girly looks.

simple clutch bag template

 

this is a simple clutch bag pattern that i made for you guys to save and print out in A4 size. this pattern is for a small clutch bag and can be used for many projects, i will be uploading a tutorial soon, on how to construct the bag but for now im just uploading the template for you to use. the instuctions are on the pattern. also if you want share this pattern on other websites you can just make sure you credit me for making the pattern.

 



new designs for me clothing range

 i was trying to think of a the type of top that i wanted to make with the design on the front, not sure what design yet but its going to be a simple white vest gatheres at the top in a nice silhy material so it looks flowy and nice.

also i was thinking of making a chunky colour block necklace for spring/ summer. what do you think?

new me clothing range

hey! guys so i have some ne new clothes & accessories for you!

this was a custom made dress i was working on for someone i enjoyed making it. it's a white dress with darts at the waist and a draped bottom so the skirt part is flowing. if you would like something custom made visit www.missevolution.weebly.com

i also made some new labels to go into my clothes because before i used to just sew clothes and send them to people, but that wasn't very good because it doesn't show who made it and i what everyone to know that i was person who designed such and such garment so from now on all my clothes will have this logo with chantelle fashion on the logo to brand my clothing.

its even in my new t-shirts!!!!

So the first tshirt was inspired chocolate, because what girl doesn’t love chocolate?  And i wanted to play with chocolate and turn it into a fun design. And i literally played with chocolates to create this design. i took lots of chocolate and just arranged it, crushed it up and broke it in half,  i just photographed each stage of me crushing the chocolates it was so much fun and even better eating it all. from the series of photos i took i chose my fave one and i just drew! So I sort of turned it into a mini chocolate world where people are made of chocolate and at a chocolate theme park where people are going creamy caramel down slides. so its funny and Delicious, i wanted to create a unique idea, something that's not been done before.

 

The next tshirt design was also another play with humour so I use lots of colours and the shape of the body and I just wanted to funny and different. so i just collaged to make the body look big and out of proportion so it's weird but cool, so its not like the design you see anywhere its fun and unique. and i think you can see the fun in the design!
