hi everyone! this is my newest design, below you can see my concept board this project was about looking at future trends. i looked at the deep ocean and things that were surreal and mythical i also looked as surface texture and the 1920's silhouette and simplistic shape. with these all combined i developed theses into design ideas.

this is the final outfit  made for the drape project a contemporary casual outfit inspired by indian sari combined with texture. i wanted it to be casual so i didnt use traditional indian fabrics instead i used jersey in indian sari colours. 

tailored jacket design for womenswear based on teddy boys

the process of me designing my new tailored jacket. inspired by teddy boys and a concept of conceal and revealing detailed features on the jacket. 

shirt project

 this is the Celine collection i took inspiration from

so I've been working on my very own shirt design i made in fashion design classes and we had to make  a shirt inspired by a brand of our choice. i chose the brand Celine. the brief was simple we we couldn't just copy an existing outfit from the brands range. what we had to do was research who the current designer was who they are inspired by and try and gather inspiration from there .also research the history and design philosophy of the brand.

yay i passed my foundation year so i could progress on to my first year of Fashion BA here are some pages from my skech book if you would like to see it.

if you haven't already guessed my project was about flowers and this was the research i did for the flowers, i explored colour, emotion, shape, form, life and death of a flower and based my final garment on this.
