Today I have an interview with Jason the creator of neitherland
What got you into design?
This will sound lame, but I create art because I have to. I really don't have any other choice. Its a compulsion.
Where do you hope to see yourself in 5 years in regards to your Etsy?
I
love Etsy because I get to connect with so many wonderful and cool
people. It really is thrilling when someone likes what you create and I
love all my customers who collect my work.
Was it difficult to start your etsy shop or did you just find your way?
It
was difficult starting my Etsy shop. I am kinda old fashioned in some
ways. I had to learn and pick up on many small details to get everything
together.
Do you have any advice for those who want to sell on etsy and are only just starting out?
I
would say you have to be inspired personally by what you create. If you
love what you do, this will reflect itself in your shop.

The Printable Concept
Hey everyone I just wanted to share a beautiful print company that is an online art shop and they sell stylish art prints to add some personality to your room or house. The Printable Concept is very unique, sleek and graphic its actually really playful style of print designs. The amazing part is that they donate 10% of the proceeds to a fundraising campaign or crowdfunding
project that aims to help an individual or a family in need. These can
include situations such as fundraising for a loved one's cancer
diagnosis, aftercare following an accident, fertility treatments or even
replacing a pair of eyeglasses held together with duct tape.

etsy shop feature of the week Kreativprodukte
hey everyone! today is another etsy feature about a
wonderful jewellery shop.
"my day job i´m a chemist, so there´s a lot of
technical stuff around me all day and even though i love science i need
getaways and this is where crafting comes in.
i have been doing this and that
all my life, my mother crafted a lot with me when i was young, in a summer
holiday i learned how to make friendship bracelets and at some point i
developed a love for the seed beads. last but not least i took up painting.
my
business:
even though i have always been a crafter i always just made a little
something here and a little something there and everything i did not use myself
turned into presents for others. about a year ago i got serious about crafting
and i came to a point when i had so many things lying around and all my
relatives and friends were gifted with my creations that i decided to open up
an etsy shop and share my creations with the whole world
favourite thing to
make??
i cannot say, one day i enjoy macrame, the next it´s kumihimo and on the
third i love sitting in my room and paint. whatever i feel like and i feel like
doing something pretty much every day as just cannot sit on the couch watching
tv without doing something productive.
my products:
i think my products are
unique because even though i look around the internet a lot (i just love pinterest
and its tutorials) and am a big fan of tutorials i always try to change what´s
shown around a bit so it gets a unique twist that noone else has and thereby
make it my own creation."

getting arty farty!
a drawing of my eye! today i felt like drawing realistic again, and i did my own eye. it's not bad but it could use alot of work i used to be able to draw better than this so i need to practice again. 2 years ago i stopped doing realist looking art because i wanted to to a more free style of drawing. back then it was forced onto us and we had no choice of what you could do so as soon as i finished alevel i stopped drawing realist and followed my heart and did more free styles more messy! thats my style :) but now i want to re work my skills so i can combine realistic with a more looser messy style.
ive also been making cute christmas cards for fun! :)
